Detail(s)Under the authority of section 25.4(1) of the Health Professions Procedural Code, being Schedule 2 to the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991, S.O. 1991, c.18, it is the decision of the panel of the Inquiries, Complaints and Reports Committee (“ICRC”) of the College to impose an interim order directing the Registrar of the College to suspend Mr. John Paul Ackerman's Certificate of Registration as of June 22, 2018, which order continues in force until it is varied by the ICRC or until the matter is withdrawn, resolved by way of an alternative dispute resolution process or otherwise finally disposed of by a panel of the ICRC, the Discipline Committee or the Fitness to Practise Committee.

    2. Notify the Officer in Charge at Ottawa Police Service of his address within 24 hours of any change in address.

    3. Not contact or communicate in any way either directly or indirectly, by any physical, electronic or other means, with Client A.

    4. Not be within 200 metres of any place where he knows Client A to live, work, go to school, frequent or any place Client A is known to be except for required court appearances.

    5. Not perform professional massages on women while unsupervised.
